Model Railroad Club

This great hobby is very satisfying and rewarding, not to mention addictive. The Club has a lot to offers for the new to the experienced Model Railway modelers.

Some highlights of the club include:

• 15 operational Ntrak modules
• 3 state of the art 12' T yard modules
• 10 HO modules under construction
• Participates in major model railway events on Vancouver Island
• Displays at Esquimalt Buccaneer Days
• Won "Best Show of 2001" for "Operating layout" at the Nanaimo Model Railway Show

The club is open to all serving and retired military Members, DND civilian personnel and up to 50% of the regular membership can be civilian with no military background. Fringe benefits of joining the club include:

• Discounts at Pacific Scale Rail
• Library to research and share knowledge

Membership Costs:
$36/year for ages 12 and up
$5/year for ages 5 to 11 with parent's membership (Young members are the responsibility of the parent member and are to be supervised at all times)

Club hours are Wednesday evenings from 1900 to 2200; building 1119 Work Point, inside the Base Transport complex off Macaulay Street.
